What I love most about working at St. John’s:
I love to lead children in worship. It’s so precious to hear voices and hearts lifted up in song to our Lord.
Where I’m from:
I’m from the northeastern plains of Yuma, Colorado.
Interests and Hobbies:
I like gardening, camping, and boating.
A personal note:
My husband, Cody, and I have been married since 2006 and we have 4 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
Favorite thing about teaching:
My passion is working with children through music. I believe in providing an engaging experience where children can express themselves and learn through music by singing, dancing, moving, and playing various instruments. I also believe in the importance of music; how it ties core subjects together and strengthens cognitive connections. Children become stronger learners as they grow in understanding, knowledge, appreciation, and love for music.
Favorite Psalm: “Shout joyfully to God, all you on earth; sing of His glorious name; give Him glorious praise.” Psalm 66:1-2
